Ballpark cabinetry costs

We are often asked "How much will one of your kitchens cost?"
That's a very tricky question to answer. It very much depends on how the kitchen is designed and which style you are after.

Supermatte handleless kitchens are by far our most economical.

Bespoke framed painted kitchens are our mid priced cabinetry.

Our bespoke grain matched 'finger jointed' cabinets are by far the most time consuming to produce and subsequently our most expensive.
We do however produce a similar looking product, with a few less detailed options which can achieve a similar look, but a fraction of the cost.

We have  listed a few price guides below.

Grain matched oak veneer with supermatte ivory and ceramic handleless rails to match the 12mm ceramic worktop.

Metal handleless rails

Cabinetry from £9k

Metal or laminate wood handleless rail.
30 different carcase colour options, including Graphite (our most popular)
3 Week turnaround.
Cabinetry from
£14k

This example had matte doors for the tall bank and the reverse of island.
Full height doors (German makes tend to have a split at worktop level)
Bespoke grain matched and book matched oversized character  heart  oak veneer 3.2m
Even the plinth was book matched!!
We followed the grain around to the side panels as well.
We swapped out the handleless rail for the matching 12mm ceramic worktop material.
2 stacks of internal pull out pan drawers within the larders.
Integrated pull out bin
internal drawers within the pan drawers.
Knife blocks, plate pegs, cutlery trays, utensil drawer and lift out boxes all in oak.

Expect to pay from £25k for this level of bespoke cabinetry detailing.

In-frame bespoke kitchens

For example, a 1200mm standard painted, framed double door with butt hinges will cost around £800. A 3 drawer cabinet with oak dove tail drawer boxes will cost around £1300. Or 2 sets of 600mm drawers £2400. The same space therefore can almost quadruple in price, depending how its designed.

Large kitchen

Framed NON grain matched eco version with
scandi subtle white wash

Picture
Above
This version is a beautifully simple eco option of our classic finger jointed cabinetry.
We use crown oak (the outer sections of the oak tree) which tends to have a straighter, less characterful grain.
Drawers are thinner at 16mm (as apposed to our original heartoak design where drawers are 25-30mm thick) which are not available to be grain matched.
We tend to lacquer these drawers with a slight white scandi wash to even out the variance of colour.
A double sided island with matching or contrasting plinth, up to 3m wide x 1.2m deep will cost from £16k.
The addition of a bespoke frame with 4 legs will add around £5k
Steel legs x 12 (to support each gable and middle) will only add £100, but wont look as floating as the picture above.

A similar designed kitchen will cost around £30k for cabinetry (including tall oven and fridge housings in supermatte white) + £5k if the bespoke island frame is required.

Finger jointed island

Picture
Above: This version is our original grain matched, heart oak, framed, bespoke model.
We use a thicker timber for the drawers, typically between 25-30mm and as it is made from heartoak (centre of the oak tree) it tends to have a more characterful grain.
A double sided island 3m x 1.2m will cost from £25k
Picture

Above. A similar sized double sided island with bespoke raised steel supported plinth 3m x 1800mm will cost approximately £29k
Similar island but with the black plinth running to the end of the cabinets (not indenting like picture above) £25k
A framed version 'without' hidden vertical gables as above, non grain matched with plinth running the sides of the cabinet would cost approximately £20k
Similar layout of black supermatte larders, appliance housing and pan drawers, £10-£16k depending on internal configuration of drawers and wirework.
Picture
Above. A similar sized double sided island with bespoke raised steel supported frame 4.5m x 1300mm will cost approximately £35k excluding worktop and appliances.
A non grain matched, framed version will be closer to £25k
Picture
Picture
Above. Douglas Fir with supermatte tall cabinets. A similar size kitchen lay out would cost from £30k for cabinets, excluding worktop and appliances.

Slatted oak

Picture
A similar sized island 3m x 1.2m with mixed slatted oak would cost from £25k excluding worktop and appliances. One side could be made from £15k with the other made in a more economical super matte or gloss handleless kitchen with a matching black or oak handleless rail from £5k
A similar sized 5m run with a mixture of finger jointed drawers and slatted oak tall cabinets would cost from £25k excluding worktop and appliances.
So a similar size kitchen would cost around £45-50k
Most clients do opt for just a feature island in the slatted or finger jointed style and dilute the cost by using the more economical handleless kitchens with a contemporary oak handle raail integrated within the cabinet.

Mixture of grain matched, finger jointed with hidden vertical gables and handleless supermatte with integrated handle.

£23k for the island cabinetry.
£7k for the sink run cabinetry.
£5k for the pantry cabinetry.
Worktop 20mm Caesarstone Raw Concrete 4004 £5.5k
Appliances £9k including Barazza flush mounted 1200mm hob + downdraft extractor and Quooker instant boiling tap.
