Cabinet Construction
The raw materialCabinet Artistry bespoke doors are made from carefully sourced from well managed, sustainable forests.
We produce our cabinets from veneered oak over MDF, a rich warm walnut veneer over MDF, birch ply or oak vaneer over birch ply, depending on what finish and specification you require for the cabinets. Cabinets can also be made from MFC (melamine Faced Chipboard) with a choice of 200 different colours and wood grain. This is a very tough and durable easy to wipe clean material. Marginally more cost effective than the real veneer cabinetry. Painted optionsIn order to give you the ultimate flexibility over costs we have several options when it comes to paint and paint finish.
The Little Greene Paint Company. Colour matched Farrow & Ball again in a tough 2 part paint mix matte/sheen finish instead of a water based emulation or any RAL colour. |

construction of cabinetsCabinets are glued and dowelled together, compressed in a squaring press while the glue goes off, ensuring all our cabinets leave the factory totally square and rigid.
We only use cam and dowel construction (self build flat pack style) if access for large awkward sized cabinets is an issue. |
